A New Year Approaches

Well, well, well.

I haven't been as avid a poster here as usual, but the time has come for an update. This year has been a weird one; perhaps even more so than most of the previous ones I've experienced. Not just for me, I feel, but from what I gather, it's how a lot of us are feeling.

For once, I don't really have that much to say, other than that I hope the coming year will be a good one! Instead, I'll leave you with a final piano piece (this year), which I recently finished composing:

It's been a while, but I wrote a new blog post as well. That is, on my actual blog over at blogger. If you feel like reading a few further thoughts I've had this year (nothing mindblowing; just a basic summary), feel free to do so!

Now, I'll go ahead and celebrate New Year's Eve. I hope you have a good one too, regardless of how you're celebrating, and even if you aren't ^ ^

I'm glad that someone actually reads them! This one in particular wasn't that eye-opening, but not all of them can be :D

It was pretty chill meeting them! I showed them around the city, we had lunch a few times, went to museums, and whatnot. Some good practical English practice for me too :)

That video was exciting to watch. You were all kawaii out of the gate with that little hand wave but you turned into some avant-garde creature. Like "the spirit of Frederick Chopin being channeled through a small monkey which is being channeled through you" kind of creature.

I'm telling you, that (which some people have called "retarded", possibly rightfully so) wave I do at the beginning, has become my thing on these videos, haha. I just spontaneously did it on my first piano upload, and I've kept it up since (apart from a few videos where I play on real pianos) :p

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say this about my own uploads (ofc I am, haha, but you know), but I think the piece turned out pretty interesting, and at a few points here and there, pretty good even! It's one if my more classical works, even though a few sections had a different style (jazzy, or even pop/anime-ish [I've been told!]).

I often times find that not keeping my mouth shut, leads to interesting situations. But also, surprisingly often, it changes nothing :V
