I don't tend to spend too much time thinking about the production, in most cases. If something has a high musical value, it's fine to me :p
And I definitely like what you've done here :)
It's interesting, and there was a totally unexpected change in style which I liked. The rhythmic aspects of this piece are great!
I'm taking away half a star only for the abrupt ending XD

It's impressive how so many musicians here on Newgrounds can produce great stuff in a ton of different genres! You too seem to bee very flexible in your style, which is great :D

[Sorcerers Path - The Forest]

Yup. This is great. Not much more to say. All the sfx fits perfectly, and the atmosphere is beautiful. You're an awesome musician, that's all :D
This certainly fits the game/movie music genre; it feels like it tells a story, which is as it should be. The theme is captured perfectly as well.
I can hear Danny Elfman-ish stuff here too, just like in the previous piece.
My only complaint is that the loop is not perfect, but I'm sure it's not supposed to be :)

Thanks so much LucidShadowDreamer for leaving your kind words here :D I had chosen an elfman approach for the main theme so i thought i would connect it with the first level - the forest, and then to do quite different tracks for the other worlds. The difficulty will be to find something which connects all the parts in feel and makes the whole game sound monolithic while still being versatile. I hope i will be able to manage it.

I still have to check the loop in detail. Right now i am composing the pieces. When this will be done i will fix those little issues.

Well, as a guy who mostly composes solo piano pieces, I can say that this is great!
I love the simplicity most of all :)
It's actually possible to hear that this song is made by you. The chord progressions remind me of stuff you've done earlier.The intro especially reminded me of Sanctuary, while other parts felt more like the adventurer. I'm sure it's because the mood here too is pretty adventurous, although there are some other feels too :P

Haha, if you've heard my other pieces I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to notice stylistic similarities! :p Like, I just realised now that 0:24 in this track sounds like 0:28 in The Adventurer haha. Plus my abuse of dominant chords and maj7 chords is similar to Windows.

You've been putting out a lot of great music lately, this piece included. I epsecially love the way the piano is just in this track. The atmosphere and everything else is great too.
Except for one minor detail...
You just had to cut off the ending didn't you? D:<
