Alright, I finally found time to play this game, and it was really worth it!
I had tons of fun, and the game is great. Everything is very smooth, the visuals are splendid, the music fits with the art and so does the concept/story. I didn't really find any flaws with the game, but here are a few things that may or may not be worth thinking about.

- I found the game to be almost too easy, as I without a sweat managed to get all the achievements in no time. Don't get me wrong, the level design was excellent, but I think that one could've added a few new elements closer to the end which would've increased the difficulty. If because of nothing else, because the player needs some time learning to use the new tools given to him/her.
Another alternative is to include a version without a visual aid (the red line) after completion.
Then again, there's nothing wrong with an easy game! (Maybe it's just me who have been playing so many difficult ones instead XD)

- I loved the voice acting (one of the voices even sounded slightly like Mickey Mouse). That said, after a while I heard the same voices saying the same things pretty often. I think that one could've considered either recording a few more lines, or just playing them a bit less often.

I was really grasping at straws to find anything at all to mention though, so you guys did an amazing job!

Great game, favorited, 5/5, 9.5/10.

Agreed the game is really on the easy side. I have sort of always stayed on the easy side to reach a larger audience, but the idea of having a hard mode is good, might try that in new games.

We are trying to improve with every new release, will definitely increase the amount of voice acting, quality of game design, art, music, and hopefully someday we could compete with AAA games :)

I can't believe I missed this one. Good thing I played your "Coming Out Simulator" which guided me to this awesome game :)

A great game, or perhaps I should say you presented your story nicely. I've played several of your games in the past, but this is easily the one that touches me the most, perhaps because I can relate(to a limited extent) :)

I managed to get somewhere above 40000 points before failing :p

For being a first game, this is what you'd expect. There are of course too many flaws to point out, but there are three improvements that'd instantly make this more enjoyable (I get that this isn't that serious a project, so I won't leave too much of a review).

- You should try to make it so that the music doesn't restart every time you die.

- When you die, it should show your final score on the screen, and perhaps a retry button.

- It'd be cool if the high scores were connected to the leaderboard on Newgrounds :D

Good job with the two layers though ;)

Simple, yet not too bad. I think that there could be a lot more too this though, like some simple music and some nice aesthetics. I understand this is just a little project though.

This is... A really good game o.O

Well. This is a pretty simple game, and there's really nothing in it that hasn't been done before. It's pretty easy in general, and the story is pretty generic too.
That aside, I still enjoyed the game. It's simple fun; you don't really have to think about what you're doing. The controls are pretty smooth, and I actually liked the sound effects (although the might not be the most professional XD).
I like the theme as well, just in time for Halloween, and the artwork is well done :p

What I find really interesting is your music choice!

Alright, I played the game for a while.

I really like the concept and the atmosphere. I imagine that you get by by hearing things, which is why throwing pebbles helps you get around. I like that everything is pretty dark and the light is limited.
The levels so far have been okay too. I'm only at level 4 though, as I ran into a weird issue.

I don't like the fact that your character always turns to face the right direction when you jump from standing still. It gets annoying if you want to stand still, jump and throw something to the left.
The grenades were an okay mechanic, as was the gun.
I think it should be more clear that restarting the level will also reset all the levers and platforms, whereas dying will only move you to the start of one.

The enemies are okay as well. They are simple, but do their job.

The moving platforms work fine, but there's a weird thing when they run into eachother, which can happen in level 4, for instance. You will end up jerking a bit and going through one if they crash.

Now, about the level I got stuck on (level 4). I think I did pretty much everything. The objective, is of course, to get rid of the lasers blocking the door. However, I went to all the places, and turned all the levers. The one down at the bottom right, which recommends you shoot it (it is actually possible to jump over there). the three at the top (start of the level), and the one to the very left which also gets some platforms moving (like the one that moves across almost the entire map).
Still, when I get back there's still one laser in the way of the door out.
I might've missed something (I did find the grenades too), or then I ran into a glitch or something.

I can't comment too much on the story, as I have not been able to finish the game.

All in all, I don't think the game should be much longer. There are a few more things that could be done with the level tools, but after a while, I think it would get boring. Anyhow, this is a pretty good game, and I enjoyed playing it.

You have missed something on the level 4. Continue to search and think about the new mechanic you have learned with your gun.
After that level, you'll find the final boss.

I didn't understand why guys were upset by the right-facing with jump. Now it's more clear for me.
About the platform on level 4, as you see, there is some strange behaviors, but i didn't have more time to correct that, so it's playable, but not as perfect as it should be.
