You certainly did do it justice! I watched the animation, and your music added SOO much to the atmosphere!
While this sounds japanese, I also get an arabic at precisely 1:00. I've heard similar things to that going on in examplewise Okami though, so it still holds true to the eastern style.

And yeah, I can't really criticise this at all, as I know how well it fit the animation. It works surprisingly well as a standalone track too!! :D
The intrument choices are splendid, the melodies are nice, and the mixing is good. I love it when you play the guitar, btw! You get such an amazing sound out of it :3

I would go at it just like you probably did; find out what works, and in whatever order, and if it doesn't work, tweak and fix it until it does. Although the process can be smooth, and not, in the end, whatever means you used, it's the end result that matters, and the end result here is great XD

So splendid job once again, dude ;)

it does sound a bit Arabic indeed at that part you mentioned, CrabbWalker asked me if I could make the soundtrack have Japanese/Oriental and Arabic elements to it.
I'm glad you liked the guitar part :) I'm always not too sure if I can get it to sound alright in the mix since I have to record it myself, samples are usually so much easier to mix xD

Great job with getting the voices/vocals to sound like they do in most kids shown, but with a slightly more creepy twist to it ;)

I do really like this one!
Already from the intro, the track is very captivating.
You've got a great sense of melody and structure, and the production in awesome as always ;)
There's always something new and interesting going on, and the entire atmosphere is splendid, and really gives the sense of space; the title is perfect :D

Thanks man! I had to go for an ambient track. The instrument the demo features is a tabla tarang which is a set of tuned percussion. Traditionally it is played accompanied by a solo tabla set that plays the groove. But because i didnt own this one i had to find a way how to use it in a more instrumental context.
