I've been sort of lurking about, trickling small amounts of work out this year, and one thing I've noticed is that the people who're featured are the ones remarkably active in participation on the site, and truly deserve to be featured. Whenever I'd look through practically anyone's tracks or illustrative works and ready for a review, I see the same faces constructively reviewing them, and each other, all the while putting their extraordinary work out there, and that, to me anyway, is a pretty beautiful thing~ :D

I've noticed that the people who've been featured have been pretty active too. It's a great way of encouraging those people to keep on being active! I was still surprised to see myself frontpaged, as there are so many other great candidates. I've been checking them out every day :3
I like that part of the community as well! The people that spend much time browsing what others have submitted, and reviewing them or otherwise getting involved in the community are really the real MVPs, although the ones that merely submit great stuff are amazing too ;)
