Thanks for giving a round of hands with your shoutout!
This thing really has moved along fast! I almost can't believe how quickly time goes by :O
Good thing you're documenting the competition through this podcast, in case anyone misses it ;)

Haha, yes--all those hands! Hopefully applauding. Heh.
I know, right? It's gone from being a supremely daunting task in the beginning to something much more manageable, but I find that my free time has also been diminishing, so it all pretty much evens out.
I expect that one day, many years from now, people will come to Newgrounds when it's being run by the descendents of Tom Fulp, merely to explore the intricacies of the 2017 Newgrounds Audio Deathmatch by listening to these podcasts. I mean hey, it could totally happen! :v
One of my favorite pieces! I play it all the time :D
Nicely done, though you changed key at the end ^ ^
I realized ^_^; I forgot how to play it so I had to end it up with something, I kinda' want to practice it more :) just the Ocarina on the keyboard and then begin hitting some tangents ;D it sounds really good, I do have an ocarina myself, but it's way harder to play than it looks xP

:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Great job making it to third place! I think I didn't hear this track during the competition, since Chips V is the first one I wasn't a part of. Luckily, I get to enjoy it now!
I like how you can make something pretty upbeat, but relaxing at the same time :O
Thank you for sharing! It's great :D
Ahh, the first CHIPS I didn't participate in :D
Sounds very chill! I think the panning paid off. I can hear the string instrument (guitar-ish sound) clearly in the right ear, and it's nice and relaxing. I think the general balance you went with fits the style of the piece very well. I think the tag calling it lounge music is pretty spot on xD
Hopefully, chips will inspire you to write even more stuff! :3
Thanks so much for the review! I'm glad you like the panning. I should use panning more often. I agree about the lounge music characterization - the vibraphone especially makes that so. XD Unfortunately, I'm going through a change in computers right now, so I won't be able to use FL Studio for at least a couple of months, but once I'm back at school I'll try to record some vocals or something. ^^ Thanks again!
Whoah, sounds like this is going to be a tight round! Awesome work on this :D
It'll be interesting to see how everything turns out ^ ^
ty! =D
No other reivews eh? At least it has a fair amount of downloads!
I'm really just here to remind you I like this, and think you did well in imitating the style :D
Thanks for the review, and I'm glad at least two people think so :D
Pretty good job, dude!
thanks dude
Once again, you've got an insanely good podcast voice xD
Maybe you should consider doing it oustide of the deathmatch too? Well, don't want to put too much work on your table though :p
It's just cool that this site has that feature.
P.S. Nice choice of background music ;)
Thanks once again, Lucid! I aim to please. ^__^
I wouldn't mind helping folks out once in a while, especially here on Newgrounds! I generally get paid for voice-over/acting gigs and the like, but donating my time isn't a problem for the right opportunity. Not that I'm all grasping or whatever of course, but a fella needs to eat once in a while, too. (;
Y'know, I was actually pretty surprised the first time I stumbled over the Podcast feature. We may be lacking in a lot of musical genre options, but the VA and Podcast areas seem to be covered.
P.S. Glad you enjoyed the music! In future podcasts, I may start using music other than my own.
johnfn finds it humorous that I've only used my own music, and he's not wrong when he says it would be a great idea to incorporate some actual tracks from the NGADM. But of course my main concern was that doing so could result in others feeling slighted or left out...
Then again, maybe I should just stop being so concerned about what other people may or may not think and simply do what I want! :3
I exist. That'd pretty much be it. Pictures made on Paint.NET (getpaint.net) and Apophysis 7X.
