This is a pretty cool WIP! I am eager to see what you'll make of it :)

backwardecho responds:

Thanks so much!

Oh wow, this sounds lovely :O
The fact that you've been meditating on this for so long, probably explains why you managed to turn it into something so great. I still can''t quite comprehend how you managed to blend so many awesome and experimental sounds (was that a shotgun being loaded?) into this, so seamlessly! Everything you added complements the track perfectly.

That's an interesting story you've got there, as well!

P.S. I thought this track was on loop, since I heard it playing anew, but turns out I had just subconsciously pressed play again, without realizing! So if that's not indicative of how much I enjoy this track, I don't know what is <3

Quarl responds:

The shotgun was a place holder. I was going to toss a camera shutter sample there eventually but I'm like... super lazy. Didn't even bother looking for the sample.

lol, it's a fun melody to play. I loop the riff much in the same way when I force myself on my keyboard because it feels really natural. Since you also use youtube and play piano, I'd be willing to post a private video when I get home tonight. The hand motions are super fluid, makes for a rewarding rudiment :)

I heard this when you posted it. Happened to come back to it, so I might as well let you know I enjoyed it! A lot :D
There's a lot of cool stuff going on. Keep it up! :)

Noisysundae responds:

Thanks as usual LSD. I saw your fave tracks before you wrote this. :P

This is a pretty neat track! It's a bit different from your usual work :D
I like the melodies, along with the rhythm. The percussion is quite interesting, here :O
The modulation at 3:24 is awesome, btw! So simple, pretty seamless, but still effective.

Because of the progression, I feel like this could be a pretty effective background track to something. Nice job with this piece! Keep it up, dude ;'D

zybor responds:

Thank you for your review! :)

I love making 16 second long loops too! I haven't made any in a while though :'D
I'd probably be way better at it now than I used to be too :V

Quarl responds:

After all these years I've finally realize this is what I should have been doing with all my unfinished tracks. Loop musics :3

This is super cool!

EWQLSO is pretty resource heavy. And sometimes it/PLAY gives different issues based on your computer model, or at times even the ASIO driver.

I've never had the harps not work, but I remember I used to not even be able to use the Steinway B included in silver, because the notes would play at the wrong time. Another problem is that sometimes the notes don't go off, especially if what you're working on is quite crammed with stuff.

Ever since I got my new laptop with 16GB RAM and good stats in general, EWQL has been working pretty much fine for me, so I don't know if it's because of the RAM, processor etc. or simply because the model of computer I have is well suited for PLAY.
How much RAM do you have?

I also don't know if some issue is more common in FL Studio, since I use Cubase. For instance, I've never had to restart my computer because of it.

Back to the track though. Despite techincal difficulties, you managed to create something poweful, which makes good use of different many elements, both orchestral and otherwise. Even more, this is supposedly a WIP (which I can only notice from the way this piece currently ends), so if you end up making something more out of it, I look forward to listening to that as well!

Good job, keep it up, and have fun with EWQL SO :D!

steampianist responds:

i have an 8GB ram with and an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 4460 3.20ghz on a windows 7 using a desktop.

i can run games no problem (dark souls 3, dishonored 2 etc.) but ive heard there are some issues with FL STUDIO i think i need bigger ram haha but for now ive found a way around EWQLSO its just a little tedious

anyway thanks for the review man and i hope you will like the final outcome.. will be posting the instrumental version here as soon as it's done

I used to parkour quite a bit, when I was younger (not that I'm very old now).
This is a nice decication to that extreme sport.
Wouldn't it be cool if this was used in a parkour video? :O

zybor responds:

Hopefully somebody will use it.

Thanks for the review.

This is pretty neat! Nice job :D

Ceevro responds:

Glad you enjoyed it!

Happy New Year!
I hope that the coming year indeed has a lot of good things to bring to us all. Let's make sure to try to make that happen on our ends as well :)

Satyre responds:

Happy New Year! It will :D We've just have to believe it and work hard for sure ;)

I exist. That'd pretty much be it. Pictures made on Paint.NET (getpaint.net) and Apophysis 7X.
