I seem to recall you posting a WIP of this some time ago?
I very much enjoy this full version. I'll go over to youtube to listen to the version with vocals now as well :)

Once again, I find I don't have much time to write a review. But I enjoyed every second of this!
Wonderful work, as always.

zybor responds:

Thank you so much for your review!! :)

take care!

This is a good example of a longer track, done right! I love it :)
Ofc, here you've got the advantage of the ambient genre, and the slow tempo. Either way, you pulled it off nicely, and it sounds great all the way through. Keep it up! ^ ^

Grandvision responds:

Aww thank you for such a kind comment. Ambient takes a little more finesse to do even if people do not realize it. Although it might seem like a more easier genre to get into rather than say "Epic Orchestral" music, it still takes skill to keep a track interesting, at least with what you're working on. There are also different approaches to ambient, what one might consider ambient another might not. There are way to make upbeat ambient tracks, and those with percussion and even drums. It all depends on the sound and the feel.

Awesome song, bruh ;]

Mattashi responds:

Thanks man :)

I love how this simultaneously sounds out of tune, yet so good!

larrynachos responds:

Thanks friend :)

I don't think this this is too loud, personally. I tihnk compressing any further (as was suggested), is the opposite of necessary, since that'd reduce the dynamic of the piece. The fact that it's loud simply means the listener can reduce their volume. I happen to think that the balance between the instruments, and the mastering is pretty much on point.

Some of the synths might have a tad too much reverb for my taste, making them a tad muddy in the mix, but not to the point where it's disruptive, imo. The melodies, the arrangement and the progression are all to my taste! I love how the drums (especially the kick) are both fairly loud, pack a punch, but still feel somewhat soft and bouncy :D

Ofc, all about the mixing and mastering might vary based on the listening device, which is a shame as that tends to complicate matters xD

Well, that's it for my short input!
I love everything from instrumentation, to atmosphere to melody ;)
Thanks for sharing :3!!!

I don't have time to leave a big review atm, but just wanted to let you know I enjoyed the listen :D
This would fit so nicely in a game or a movie!
Keep it up ;)

backwardecho responds:

Thanks so much, LucidShadowDreamer! I'm always happy to receive a review from ya, whether lengthy or brief!^^

I said I'd write a review later because I felt like leaving a more proper one, but it has been a while now, and I've been listening to the piece more than I have been writing :)
So I wanted to leave a few words her before I completely forget.
1:51 is soo cool o.O

And after minutes upon minutes of awesome music, the end segments are quite epic!
So many genres included here too :V

I wish I could make something like this :O
The loop is mostly smooth too :)

Actually, the whole track is just so full of super cool effects. And sounds, and even melodies + progressions. The transitions are very effective, and this piece NEVER gets boring.

Seriously, you're incredible for creating such wonderous compositions, so rapidly. This one especially, is a beast to say the least! (#DankRhymes)

Keep it up!!!

zybor responds:

The whole track's theme is about escapism in post-modern society, and we all are living in it. My life, your life, Yuki's life, Jordi's, Mattashi's, Soundchris'... we are all being consumed by it every second, until we are sunk into it so deep that escapism becomes our reality. And we seek for music as a way to escape suffering in the real world. We create our own worlds. The world that cannot be destroy, maybe even after we leave this world.

This is the reason why I prefer to explore music in a unique way, and avoiding to restrain my own exploration upon certain genre or style.

I have to be honest with you. I am tired of this life. Tired of running, hiding, being shamed, being looked down like an animal, being there to always suffer. I wish I had a great life, so I could stop worrying about what time that I gonna line up at food bank for canned corns, or where to bathe at 1 AM. I'm mostly tired of being alone. I can't be myself. I wish.

It's a good thing that I have leukemia. Maybe it's not going to hurt if time come. I hope.

You're on a roll with creating awesome music lately. Seriously!
The stuff around the 1:30 mark is super cool :O! Same thing for after 4 minutes.
I'm soon going to sleep, so I don't have time to write too much, but I wanted to let you know that I enjoyed the piece ^ ^
As I do all of your music.

Once again, you're amazing at exploring so many different styles!

zybor responds:

Thank you very much for your reviews! :)

I exist. That'd pretty much be it. Pictures made on Paint.NET (getpaint.net) and Apophysis 7X.
