This is awesome too!
I would probably dance to this, if I wasn't lying comfortably in my bed XD
I hope the NG staff is dancing though, hehhe :p

Even though this is short, it's awesome!
Everything from rhythm, to mixing and melodic aspects are great :3
Happy Robot Day 2015!
happy robotday too you got an awesome track
This is simply great!
The rhythm, the voice, the robot-ish-ness, the progression, everything.
Splendid mixing.
Funny how you used one of the most used progressions ever XD
Happy Robot Day 2015!
Yehh the progression just came naturally to me, I know it's not the most original but it's still pretty easy to build a track with.
Thanks for the review!
This track is awesome!
Very robotic, perfectly mixed, and has some melodic aspects too :D
Happy Robot Day 2015 ;)
This is a super atmospheric piece, and I love that! The robotness in this is track is easy to hear.
The mixing over all is great! Only thing is that I think the really heavy bass drums feel a bit muddy, and occasionally drown out some of the more melodic/higher register intruments, but it's just a super small issue, and barely noticable :)
Great work on this! I will have a hard time beating it with my own track. Can't wait to hear Lich's track as well! I'm happy to see so many great tracks submitted this year :D
Your track is better than mine ;)
Well, I can definitely hear the robot in this!
The harshness is surprisingly pleasant for the ears o.O
The mixing is splendid, as well is the rhythm, and such. Not that much melody, but for a track like this, it isn't necessarily needed.
Wow, so many good tracks this year around :p
Great job!
Wow, this is a brilliant piece. Especially for basically being someome's full piece o.O
As a pianist, I really enjoy the harmonies, patterns and tempo stuff (I'm very great at theoretical terms, I know). The mixing is great too, and does a lot for the overall sound.
Easy favorite, this one.
Coincidentally, I uploaded a track that was heavily inspired by johnfn today as well, although it's a pretty differet kind of track XD
Awesome job, both of you!!!
Sweet!
Glad you like it! :) Main thing I ended up doing for the mixing was getting rid of some cross-sample clicking that was going on with the loudest notes and maximizing it since piano alone is often too quiet to really be properly heard.
I'll have to listen to the track you uploaded!
I may be biased as I love ambient music, but I think this is an amazing track. The nature sounds, like the rain, thunder and the birds along with the strings, harp and other intruments work perfectly together. It helps that the mixing is splendid, and that you used volume dynamics well.
Sounds like background music that could fit in a dark game or a movie.
Great job!
Easy favorite ;)
Hey LSD! Thanks for the speedy review, haha. For some reason I'm a sucker for thunderstorm-based ambiences... nothing else seems to fit the mood right for me. :)
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. You can do every genre dude XD
These sounds are amazing! They sound so deep, full and clear.
The beat and the sfx make up most of the track, but I don't mind, as they're AWESOME!
Great job with the sound design, the mixing, etc.
Going out of your comfort zone is often a good idea, as it can help you learn and bring out some new sides.
10/10 would play ;)
Thanks so much man, really appreciate it. This did feel like a productive experiment. Glad you liked the production; Thanks again!
I exist. That'd pretty much be it. Pictures made on Paint.NET (getpaint.net) and Apophysis 7X.
