This is totally awesome! I can certainly envision this playing at the Olympics.
Congratulations :D!!

Congratulations :D!!
Thanks! I'm excited for the opportunity! :D
Welp, consider me entertained! This is such an intersting blend of genres :O
You executed the style perfectly! I kind of want to slowly dance in a disco-Arabic fashion, wearing a kimono and holding a sword :'D
Don't dance with swords you'll hurt yourself.
Thanks for the review LSD! I really enjoyed this song as well :)
I have Komplete 11 Ultimate too actually, and I love it! It's great for people who want to start out making orchestral/hybrid music. Naturally, for plenty of other genres too :D
This song has such an impressive atmosphere, I had a blast listening to it! With an epic track like this, I think you too have a shot at grabbing a spot in the Olympics. Good luck ^___^
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I had lots of fun making this one, and I think it's probably one of my best songs so far. I'm spending lots of time learning and experimenting with music since it's what I love. I hope to continue to improve.
Now, I need to see if I can make a decent song in less than 3 days for dj-Nate's music competition...
1:39 caught me off guard in the best of ways. This is a wonderful little improv. Reminds me of broove, which I'm sure you'll appreciate. The improv is weird in the best of ways. You explored some harmonies I don't hear too often, but that actually make for a hauntingly beautiful sound together.
I'll look forward to when you end up releasing all of these, even if it might be all at once! Also, I just reached the heavy bass notes. You really managed to incorporate some pretty heavy dynamics into this improv :O
I like the idea with the two notes; your idea definitely worked out for the best. Keep it up!
Hey YOU!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts about it. This is a fun piece to play as it is simple and effective, I think. Though, broove's voice in his writing is extremely sad and I love it for that reason, but I couldn't compare this to any of his. But I understand that just because it reminds you of his stuff doesn't mean it's a direct comparison. I'm glad it does too, because then I suppose that means this isn't too repetitive and boring as a result. The idea here is to slowly build from stagnant voice leadings to more interesting melodic contours and harmonic tones from something as simple as starting with just two notes and two chords as the piece progresses. Now I still have to shape it to make it more subtle and purposeful in those changes as it's a little too fluid right now due to the emotion of improvising.
This is fantastic :O
You achieved such an atmospheric sound. I actually remember playing the first game a long time ago too. I also played the remake by Noodle a few years ago. Great job!
Thank you very much!
I love the atmosphere here! The progression is amazing too :O
All of the titles fit their respective parts well :3
Once again, you've managed to capture that retro video game feel. The front page feature was well deserved ^____^
P.S. You're very good at using changes in the tempo to tell a story!
Yay, it's Lucid! How's my former NGADM Scribe doing? It fills me with joy to receive a review from you on this, my third annual Pixel Day track. :D
Ah, you do make me blush, sir. As usual, you are able to so easily touch upon so many aspects of the music, and once again make me feel like an accomplished artist. And you are the first to mention the tempo changes directly! I am so very happy to hear that you enjoy my weaving of this tale and that all the various moving parts come together successfully. I am truly honored, and what a fantastic start to 2018!
I already commented on chips, but I wanted to comment here too. This is absolutely incredible! Fantastic work, dude.
Thank very much for your review. They mean a lot. :)
I wonder why this was rated so poorly, it's pretty rad! My guess is people just don't have much of an attention span :p
This was a nice listen :)
I submitted it to the djnate contest, so I reckon someone 0 bombed it. Thanks for the review lsd!
Ooh, the title is similar to your earlier "High Tech Low Life" :D
I liked the atmosphere from the first seconds! The rest of the track didn't disappoint ^___^
This sounds awesome! You get sucked right into the atmosphere :D
Thank you very much!
