I can see the resemblance to the Anime! When I first watched it, it made me depressed too :'D
I'm glad to hear a new track from you :)

Everratic responds:

I'm glad you recommended it to me!

This was actually a very chill thing to wake up to! I put it on as soon as I got up, and listened in bed, and it gave me very good vibes :)
We all have many unfinished works, but it seems you found a nice way to share some with the world!

Glad I could help get your day started off right! It's almost midnight here lol, have a good day!

Most of my WIPs are lost to time, I'm glad I was able to let people experience this <3

Thanks for stopping by LSD! A pleasure as always :D

I definitely don't think you should stop making songs! I found this listen to be really nice. I'm in love with the atmosphere. The glitchy effects near the beginning really worked well; it's not so easy a thing to incorporate in a song.

I didn't know what to expect coming in to this listen, but I find myself really vibing to the sound. The rhythm is simple, but fun. The sounds you use (in particular around 1:27) are so unusual, yet work really really well!

It's also good that you use percussion at one point, but not the whole way through! I think this could work really well as BGM for a bit of a mysterious puzzle game or something. As a standalone song, the structure could make a bit more sense, in the the highpoint in velocity and dynamics are already in the middle. But for a loop, that would work perfectly. Fantastic job!

This song has a really chill vibe!
I like the dynamics, in the sense that you're not afraid of having quieter parts, which in turn highlights the parts with more energy. However, I will say that I would ease down on the compression/limiting just a little bit. As you can see on the waveform, the ends are cut off at times. This can be okay as long as it doesn't affect the sound, but at least with my headphones, I can hear the sound-quality dipping a bit in said parts.

I like the sudden ending, actually! Really solid work, in general :D

SomeGuyMusic responds:

Thank you so much for the feedback! I'll try to take that into account for my next song! I'm glad you enjoyed it overall :)

This is a nice contrast to your other entry, and also to many of your compositions in general. Good job, and good luck!

Everratic responds:

Thank you for the review :D Gl to you too!

Seems like we were both taken by moving artworks this year! This has a very catchy beat and melody, which is very easy to move to. I feel like this is the type of song I might find myself humming later today without even realizing :D

I like Kamikaye's art! I think you captured the feel of the artwork immensely well :O
As you know, I also like your music, and this is no exception!

Even though you had to cut the vocals, I think it works quite well for this track. It is full of energy, and now we get to focus on all the intricate elements of the instrumental :)
Good luck!

LD-W responds:

It's a shame that I wasn't able to get the other AIM track in on time, that one was even more fitting to its art than this one by comparison! I'm still going to finish that one off though and submit it outside the contest though, it's a pretty fun and detailed one on the opposite end of the energy scale (much more Blade Runner-esq)

Thanks for checking out the track ;)

This was oddly relaxing! I like the style ^___^

I exist. That'd pretty much be it. Pictures made on Paint.NET (getpaint.net) and Apophysis 7X.
