Oh wow! This is incredible in pretty much every way. I imagine a ton of work was put into it, but from what it sounds like, it was all worth it :O
Brilliant job, all of you!

A very fitting way to celebrate the anniversary :3

Step responds:

Hey man! Sorry for taking ages to reply.

Super glad you like it. Lots of work was indeed put into it; I'd say close to 40 hours of work.

Thanks for the review ^_^.

In a few ways, I actually like this more than the original! As a fellow fan of ambiance, I'm sure you can resonate with that. Such a lovely voice, and a perfect use of it. I kinda want to fall asleep to this... But I can't sleep yet; stuff to do. I'll probably get a chance later xD

Love it!!!

ForgottenDawn responds:

Thank you! Yeah, I mean, I thought it woulda been a waste if I didn't use those vocals for an ambient mix. So I'm glad it worked out :)

Oh wow! I waited until I got back from Japan, and took a few days without much online activity (to relax after heavy touristing), before I listened to this.
I'm really glad I took myself time to properly enjoy it now, because man, do I enjoy it! <3

Everything from whispers to the beat, and all in between, is amazing. Great job, both of you :D

ForgottenDawn responds:

Oh hey, glad it was worth the wait then ;)

I'm still in Japan, but when I saw this on my feed I had to take a listen right away! And I certainly don't regret it. Étaíns singing is beyond lovely :O!!!
As is the instrumental, and your harmonies. The arrangement and the mix are wonderful too. I'm eagerly waiting for the youtube duet!

Splendid job, both of you ^ ^

etherealwinds responds:

Thank you Alex!

It's great to hear something new from you!

This rendition is wonderful. Both of your playing, and both of your vocals sound great! Actual recordings always sound so nice. There's still something way different about them, compared to notes pressed on a computer.

Awesome work, both of you ^ ^

Krichotomy responds:

It's nice to have something to upload. :) Thank you for your warm words.

Oh wow, this is really cool! Nicely done :O

DEM0NW0LF responds:

Thank you !

Ooh, this is really nice!
It's rare to find someone else who uses Cubase around these parts, too!
The loop is perfect as well ^ ^

Nicely done!

Deemo-R responds:

Heck yes, it's always awesome to find someone else that uses Cubase! :D
Expensive, certainly, but the interface just feels so comfortable and flexible to me.

Thank you for the feedback! <3

Ooh! Such an energetic piece :D
I always love when people implement sfx songs as well. Not to bring the attention away from your track, but Zephyo is simply brilliant, right? :D
Your music fits her art very aptly ^ ^

Makes me want to fly on a balloon ride as well xD

Nice job, and good luck!

(P.S. I should probably start composing something for AIM as well... But I'm going to Japan in two days o.O I might just compose a combo track submitted for both competitions as well).

larrynachos responds:

Thanks LSD! Yeah dude, Zephyo is an incredible artist! I love her art. I was planning on using one of her submissions for a sad song, but I went with this one instead. Glad you liked it!

Ooh, have fun in Japan!

ForgottenDawn responds:

<3 Also thanks for showing me that piano yesterday. You even did a better job than the demo tracks

I exist. That'd pretty much be it. Pictures made on Paint.NET (getpaint.net) and Apophysis 7X.
