This is gorgeous. Brilliant work :3
This is gorgeous. Brilliant work :3
Thanks!
:O
Sounds so frickin' good... Amazing work!
Wow.
Thank you very much!! It makes me more comfortable to keep this track for the NGAUC tryout when you tell me something like this :D You just gave me a self-confidence level up about this song. It's really appreciated.
Finally had time to listen to this! I was so excited to hear the full project now that it is finished, so I saved the listen until I had the time to enjoy it completely :)
I'm really impressed with the quality of everyone's work :O
I hope that more people will find this, and get to hear it! It is indeed a relatively unique project here on NG, and a great one at that.
The old style in this really shines through, and it's brilliant!
Great job everyone :D
I'm glad that some of my music was featured in as awesome a project as this one :3
Thank you very much. A lot of love went into this. It is amazing really because of LadyArsenic. She had also edited Episode 5 of Monsters. She will be doing the other episodes up to 10. I am blessed to be able to work with such talented friends. It has really worked out well. Im glad I changed editors with Shadow.
Ambient music <3
I was actually supposed to respond to the review you left on "Vivo Revenis", but I just realized that only Jordi can do that xD
I think I managed to respond to every unreplied to review that you've left me today! I may well have missed some of them, so do tell me if that's the case!
As for this piece, I actually like how simplistic it is. The melodies actually sounds a bit like Lunacy Echo's work! Not sure if you noticed that yourself. They're rather pleasant! :D
This is perfect music for just chilling to a bit, when one wants to relax. You always use so interesting pads too!
You know my heart can always be bought with ambient stuff though :p
Keep it up!
I'm eventually going to review some of your other tracks, but I think I've had my fill for today. Hope you're doing well! :3
Thanks for the review, Ale! No worries about any reviews you may or may not have responded to. ;) Nice to finally read all of your replies!
I didn't immediately draw the comparison between the melodies here and those of LunacyEcho, but I can understand that connection. The pads are a little overly-convoluted for an otherwise simple piece, but I smoothed them over with so much reverb they basically just all roll together like waves. :)
"You know my heart can always be bought with ambient stuff" --> that's the plan! :)
"Hope you're doing well!" --> I am, thanks! Busy, but well.
Hope you have enjoyed midsummer, my friend, and thanks again for the review! ^^
Surprisingly addictive...
Great! I couldn't ask more from this little loop. :) It's really short and not much memorable, no melody or anything complex into it. It's all for the beat and the scratch. I was trying to make it sound as a beastie boys like beat. But well, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the review ;)
I agree wholeheartedly with larrynachos. Wonderful job here! :O
You may not be 100% satisfied with the creation, but I am 100% satisfied with the listen :3
Excellent! Always enjoy hearing from you, and thank you for the encouragement!
Amazing stuff man. This sounds wonderfully epic.
Great job :D
Thank you so much!
This is pretty great background music. I can hear the darker emotions in it for sure. Somehow, it's still pretty relaxing.
Thank you. :) For some reason, even though I experiment with different styles on a regular basis, I always come back to simplistic ambient music. It's like my musical home and nursery.
Aww <3
This is wonderful. Brings back both sad and happy memories from watching the anime :3
Your version sounds so lovely! The music box (and it's arrangement) is just perfect. As it the key, AND those keyswitches :O!
The cello along with the horns bring just the feel that is needed to the piece too.
This is probably my favorite version of this piece I've ever heard. Brilliant work on this!!!
I was hoping that you would enjoy this one, Lucid. Summoning up those mixed emotions was indeed the goal, so it's really nice to know that the music is so effective. There's a lot of personal feeling behind this mix, and I'd like to think it shows.
Music box just seemed like the perfect fit for this song, and it was a lot of fun coming up with those pretty little note progressions. The key changes were always intended, but I ultimately ended up shifting the initial key to end up where I did, which also appears to have worked out quite well. :D
It sounded great with just the one instrument, but I felt the need to flesh it out and evoke still more emotion as the song progressed. Cello was the easy choice. French horn was a bit of a gamble, but the addition of brass worked out very nicely, if I do say so myself.
Aw, thanks a whole lot, Alex! That is one heck of a compliment, that's for sure. Thanks again, my friend. Godspeed.
I exist. That'd pretty much be it. Pictures made on Paint.NET (getpaint.net) and Apophysis 7X.
